No. 7 Blue Devils look to bounce back against Boston CollegeDuke is 9-0 at Cameron Indoor Stadium Following a four-point loss at No. 20 Georgia Tech on Saturday, No. 7/8 Duke will be happy to return to the friendly confines of Cameron Indoor Stadium on Wednesday night when Boston College visits. It is 9-0 at home with only one game closer than 21 points. The Blue Devils’ loss to the Yellow Jackets snapped their seven-game win streak that began after their loss to Wisconsin in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge—which was previously their only defeat of the season. Duke relinquished a six-point halftime lead and wasn’t able to overcome a poor day from behind the arc (6-of-28). Also, Kyle Singler (15.4 ppg) was limited to just nine points on a 2-of-13 shooting effort. A bright spot in the defeat was the play of freshman Mason Plumlee. Plumlee posted his second career double figures game as a Blue Devil, as he tallied ten points and six rebounds in 26 minutes of action off the bench. > Check out a great selection of Duke Blue Devils Apparel & Merchandise! Boston College (10-6, 1-1) is coming off a 16-point loss at Clemson. The Eagles, who shot just 37 percent and 2-of-16 from deep versus the Tigers, have now dropped two of three. Forward Joe Trapani led the way with 13 points at Clemson and is tops on the team with his 15.1 per game mark. The versatile 6’8” junior is second on his team in rebounds and has made more three-pointers (27) than any other Eagle. Reggie Jackson, Corey Raji and Rakim Sanders also average in double figures for Al Skinner’s club. Boston College hasn’t topped 56 points in its last two games—which included a surprising 52-51 loss to Maine—so don’t expect these Eagles to push Duke in this one. The Blue Devils will resume their winning ways behind a strong effort from beyond the arc.
