The Hokies dominated Maryland 36-9 in College Park. QB Tyrod Taylor had a big game throwing for 268 yards and a touchdown and also ran for 81 yards. Ryan Williams ran for 126 yards and a score as Maryland’s defense had no answers for the Tech offense. The Hokie defense held Maryland to 104 yards through the air.

NC State was dominated on their home turf by the Clemson Tigers. Wolf Pack QB Russell Wilson struggled on the day completing on 12 passes on 32 attempts in the loss. Clemson stud RB CJ Spiller had 145 combined yards and two scores in the 43-23 victory.

Prediction: The Hokies will line up and run the ball down the Wolf Pack’s throat. Ryan Williams and Tyrod Taylor will have huge games in what should be a lop sided victory for Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech 39 NC State 20
