Virginia Tech @ Virginia Preview

The two in state rivals meet in a series that is lopsided over the last several seasons. The Hokies have won the last six meetings in the series. The 3-8 Cavaliers have struggled mightily which may have cost Head Coach Al Groh his job.

The Hokies are on a three game winning streak each of which were against inferior foes. QB Tyrod Taylor and RB Ryan Williams have been the key to Virginia Tech’s season along with a stout defense.

The Cavaliers appeared to right the ship during a three game winning streak which evened their record at 3-3. Since that over Maryland, Virginia has lost five in a row.

Prediction: The8-3 Hokies shouldn’t have any problems with Virginia. Tyrod Taylor will make plays with his feet and Ryan Williams will have a monster game. Virginia Tech 44 Virginia 20
