Duke Blue Devils Roll Through Colorado State

Duke started out the game very strong as after the first twenty minutes of the game they found themselves with a 17 point lead. Throughout the game you noticed that Duke passed the ball much better than CSU did as the Blue Devils always looked for the open shot. Duke was led by highly touted freshman Austin Rivers, who scored 17 points in thirty minutes of action. Also guard Andre Dawkins provided a much needed spark for Duke in the first half with 15 points in twelve minutes. Also the turnover ratio tells the story for how Duke beat Colorado State 87-64. CSU turned the ball over 14 times to Dukes 9. Also the defense for Duke was the best most people have scene from them all year. As a team they had 9 blocks, (led my Mason Plumlees 5), to Colorado States one blocked shot. Watching the game, it looked other than the fact that Duke was more skilled, they had more guys in their rotation who could play tough defense and hit open jump shots. Coach Krzyzewski throughout the game rotated his players very well as 10 players saw the court for at least 10 minutes.
