NCAA Tournament Recap: #1 North Carolina vs #16 Radford

South Regional Matchup

No. 1 North Carolina 101, No. 16 Radford 58

Key Moment: UNC's Tyler Hansbrough scored 22 points to become the ACC's all-time scoring leader at 2,774. Duke's JJ Redick had the record at 2,769.
High Point Scorers: UNC -- Wayne Ellington 25 Radford -- Two tied at 12
Analysis: Not much to say, except the Tar Heels did what they should have done. The question is going to be if they will have a healthy Ty Lawson for the rest of the tournament. Lawson's toe injury is not healing the way he wanted. He didn't play on Thursday. Coach Roy Williams will test him at practice and see if he will be ready Saturday.
What's Next: The Tar Heels advance to the second round to play No. 8 LSU, which knocked off No. 9 Butler, 75-71. They could get by the Tigers without Lawson but it will be tougher.  They will have to do a good job on Tiger guard Marcus Thornton who averages 21 points per game and scored 30 against Butler. But if Ellington is on target, that really makes UNC hard to beat.
